Three students who work and report for the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism recently were recognized with regional awards from the Society of Professional Journalists.
They include:
Greg Monahan for a radio story appearing on Great Lakes Echo called John Vucetich on Michigan’s wolf hunt, which begins today. Monahan was also recognized for Best All-Around Television Newscast as a member of the Focal Point TV news crew.
Becky McKendry was recognized for a radio story appearing on WKAR and titled Lansing landmark a ‘Temple’ for creativity.
Evan Kreager was recognized in the Online News Reporting category for a feature called Osprey from Michigan refuge arrives in Cuba.
