The Knight Center will cosponsor the NOM Food Forum, hosted by the LIFT Project on Thursday, October 1, in WKAR Studio A. The all-day event is open to the public and will feature interactive panels, film screenings and most importantly, great food and opportunity to connect with the community.

From farming to politics, Nutrition, Opportunities and Media (NOM) is an event that will delve into the relationship between food and media through different “courses.” Journalism Professor of Practice Emeritus Joe Grimm will host a cooking show, local content creators will explain how they’re changing the food media landscape.

Bon Appetite and Epicurious editor-in-chief Jamila Robinson will present the annual Neil Shine Ethics Lecture with a conversation about the power of food in shaping the society we live in. She will discuss how food has served as a north star for deeply and fully representing humanity.
