Hannah Northey, an energy and environment reporter for E&E Publishing’s Greenwire in Washington, D.C., was one of five American journalists chosen to travel to Japan this summer as a fellow with the International Center for Journalists. Northey’s stories will touch on critical energy, climate and trade issues facing Japan, including the use of coal-fired generation and nuclear power, the need for gas and growing efficiency programs.
